Mend Simpson 550 Set Machine Fills

My Simpson 5.5 Elzi set 550 won't do the washing cycle?

My washing machine fills with water but won't do the washing cycle and it stays on the washing cycle for the right amount of time then just goes to drain and spin cycle. Then stops. The clothes are still dirty.
