Mend GE APH10 Water Ge Model

water full indicator light doesnt work?

The water full indicator light on my GE portable ac model aph10 does not work . Water overflowed and got carpet all wet . Anyone else ever run into this problem?

I have the exact same problem. Also, recently, the control buttons on the unit stopped responding, so only the remote can be used to change the settings. Possibly these are related problems? Anyone out there have a solution?
