GE Profile 29.8 cuft Model TFX30PR?

I started to have large acumulation of ICE in the bottom of the FREEZER, Called Sears and they wanted $200.00 to came out to repair it. Started to trouble shoot the problem by disconecting the main water line to to the refrigerator. Same problem happen again, cleaned the ice and waited another week, one again the ICE re formed on the bottom...Take in concideration that the main water line has been disconected for almost two months now. Do you have any sugestions...ie...where could I find a manual for this model on line. Thanks,

There is a vented pannel at the back of the freezer with one screw. Remove that screw and pannel and the drain will be behind that. It should be open and NO ice should be in that area. If there is ice then remove it carefully and tak a small squirt bottle of hot water and squirt it down that drain, and follow up again in a few min until the water runs through it. Your freezer defrosts it's self about every 8hrs of compressor run time and that drain takes the mosture to a pan under the unit where the compressor heat evaporates it. If the drain is plugged the water will run down the right (as you are facing it) side and into the bottom of the freezer. Been there and done that.
