How to fix an overflow with GE WWA3100G washer?

My GE model #WWA3100G is overflowing (i.e. water is flowing over the top of the drum that holds the clothes because the water does not shut off when it needs to.) How do I repair this problem?

if the water fills without switching on the solenoid valves are stuck open and need replacing, if machine overfills on a normal wash water level switch is not being activated, this can be due to clogged system , leak in pressure hose or faulty switch, most likely clogged up trace the narrow hose from switch to drum and check
