Needle hitting bobbin case?

My needle is hitting the bobbin case. When I was sewing, the message came up "Motor Blocked" and the needle broke. I have a Pfaff 2140. Thank you

If the needle is hitting the bobbin case then the machine needs retiming, if you have an electronic or computerised machine you will need to take it in for repair, I don't recommend anyone taking cover panels off on these machines to fix it themsleves.
