Pfaff 145?

hook very close,almost touching rear of needle,needle correct size and inserted correctly?try moving needle down in needle bar to determine if maybe timing is only sligtly out.is feeddog at back at level with needle plate when needle is touching needle plate? is the hook point nice and sharp,not bend? you also did not say at what needle position you checked timing,normally needle position left if hook move anticlock and right if hook move clockwise.get back if you still got problems
