Mend Pfaff Creative 7550 Sewing Machine Slow

Pfaff Creative 7550 sewing machine stuck in slow mode?

I have a Pfaff Creative 7550 sewing machine which I use for basic sewing at the moment, no embroidery. It has got stuck in slow mode (or I have unwittingly pressed a wrong button) I use slow mode frequently, but now it won't switch back to normal, AND keeps chugging on when I unplug the foot control! I have the manual but can't find help in it.

sound like a problem in footcontrol,try cleaning it with safety elect cleaner,if that does not work gonna have to get techno to have a look at it
