Mend TEC MA1450 Cash Drawer Register

tec ma 1450?

I cannot get the cash drawer
to come open. Somebody gave the register to me,
and i cant get it to do anything except beep continuously.
I was hoping I could just leave it off and open the drawer
manually. It is a TEC MA 1450
