Mend Sharp XE-A106 Cash Register Drawer

How can I fix my cash register drawer?

I have a Sharp XE-A106, and the drawer came apart in the back. Now my drawer goes in and will not lock. How can I fix this, I have a general idea as to where the parts go but Im lost when it comes to where a small back spring attaches to. Thanks in advance

It sounds like the latch return spring. It probably attaches to the side of the latch hook and then to the body of the latch itself. Look for tiny holes that it anchors to.
