Mend Royal 435dx Closed Locked Key

How to fix my Royal 435dx cash register?

My Royal 435dx cash register's drawer will not stay closed unless locked with key. Was pried open by idiots that didn't have the key and they broke something inside the drawer. I need to know how to safely take apart and maybe a diagram of the parts.

It is usually due to the latch being broken at the back of the drawer. remove the tray and inspect the hook that holds the drawer tray closed. I'm not sure about a parts list. You can often repair the latch
