Mend Smeg DWA315X Start Power Point

It seems the program is frozen?

my dishwashers program is frozen and it won't allow me to start it. I have tried turning it off at the power point but this has no effect. It is a Smeg DWA315X

Smeg Smeg DWA315X Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Start Power Point

Turn off power point and remove the plug from the wall for a good 5 minutes. Put power back on & check. If still the same, check if child lock is on . If so take child lock off. If child lock is not on & problem still exists, then phone a service company.
