Something not right!?

Hey guys,

Engine electronics lightcar with spanner) has been on when i start the car every day, will eventually go out when i turn it out and restart again only for it to come on again at some point during the day, blew three bulbs on same side of car last week, reepalced them at local garage and drove home. Looked out the window and my brake lights and tail lights were flashing by themselves! Disconnected one side of my brake lights and the were still flashing! Went to start the car about an hour later and nothing, car was dead, plenty of battery power but the engine wasn't cranking at all. Towed to garage next day and was told the starter had went....only issue there being that i had only replaced the starter two weeks before! New starter and the car is back to normal except for one thing...u got it! Transmission\Electronics light still on. Got the AA out but low and behold by the time they arrived (1hr 40min) the light wasn't on! Linked it to the computer but nothing showed up, guy reckoned it might be something to do with the ignition system? Something shorting out, might explain the new starter? Any ideas greatly appreciated Sorry guys the car is a Zafira B,05 1.9cdti
