Mend Fisher & Paykel Nautilus Dishwasher Repair

How do i get my fisher paykel nautilus dishwasher to work?

i have been given a second hand dishwasher, with no manual, Electricians have installed a power point for it and when turned on at the power point, the dishwasher lights up, has the number 7 showing and flashes on the rinse light
no buttons seem to work, the power / lock/ start/ pause/wash cycle.. nothing happens
Ideas?

Maybe the child lock is on which will stop all buttons from working. To put lock on or take it off press and hold lock button for 4 seconds. Make sure door is closed when you do it.
