Followed your advice snd unplugged and then retried- cleared light fault and therefore set it away. Filled fine and pump ok pumped water out etc through 16 minutes of programme then bleeped4 times snd stopped. Lights showing constant last light at end (pan light) and 2nd and 3rd flashing (glasses and bio) and not doing anything. Any further suggestions please?
Sorry can't help as I don't usually work with Smeg appliances. Suggest you read the user manual for any fault codes or search online for that fault code. My guess is maybe a heating problem if it runs for 16 min. before faulting.
