Mend LDV Pilot Fan Belt Coming

ldv pilot fan belt coming off pulleys?

got a 54 plate pilot.
1.9 peugeot engine.
the fan belt occasionally tries to jump off pulleys on start up. seems to happen when i am a little hasty and not allowed glow plug light to go off?
anyone any suggestions or cures.

Thanks for the advice, I had the problem after fitting new belt to supplied length, changed belt again with a belt 13mm shorter, after buying cd manual off ebay. The indicators now look in the correct position, touch wood 2 days no problem.
