How can I stop a noise from the engine on my toyota lucida estima 1995?

I have a noise which sounds like someone shaking marbles about in a cardboard box, when listening closer it seems to be coming from fan belt area, also gets a little louder when turning full right not quite so loud turning left, this can be hurd more prodomonent when in a traffic jam
