my E&R Classic nt21 is sick?

my machine appears to work but the bobbin thread is not being looped or picked up by the needle and top thread. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Either a blunt or bent needle or the needle is in the wrong way round or you may need to retime the machine, If you email me by typing my address as you say it not as you see it I can attach instructions.
