how can I fix my white model 645 sewing machine?

The needle thread will not pick up the bobbin thread, how can I fix this?

a few things could prevent thread pick up,wrong or bent needle,wrongly inserted needle,incorrect threading,tension,hook timing.simple way for checking position and hook timing is that the back of needle should almost touch hook point atjust above needle eye when needle is in upwards motion
