Tension Help for E&R RS 2000 Series?

Hi,
How do I adjust the tension on my machine. The thread gathers up on both sides of the material and the top thread snaps.I have tried adjusting the tension but still no joy. Would be grateful for any advice.

Hello Kenneth
You will have to adjust the top tension bit by bit until you get it right, ususally between 4 and 6, make sure you can pull the bottom thread through with slight resistence only.
