Replacing the cable between the control unit and door sensor?
Hi, our alarm keeps going off as the system believes it is being tampered with whareas all that has happened is the cable between the unit and door sensor has been stood on. Can i remove the front cover of the control unit and replace the broken cable without the alarm going off or do i need an engineers code first? We have an Optima XM6
if you remove the cover of the panel,you may need the engineering code,if it has not been changed by the installer,then it is ,9999.to enter the engineer programme,pres prog,9999 you will get a bleep,to exit,press reset hope this helps
