How do it reset the 9448+style?

a fuse does not blow for nothing,check to see what one blew,was it the battery one????the top left light on the control panel is the ac power ,if it flashes it means that either the mains has failed or the fuse has blown there are 3 fuses,the battery one ,the aux dc supply and the ac feed take e mannos good advice replace the battery turn mains power off before you open the end station

Ah you one step ahead of me Carol :)

The fuses were next.

Always a good thing to start with the battery then move on checking other things.

I'm happy you sorted it and thnx for getting back to us.

Ps since you can't test the battery then you should replace it anyway and fully test the system,part sets bells etc.

no problem was an internal fuse within the alarm there were spare inside all replaced and back normal thank you anyway

Unfortunately it don't tell you how to replace the backup battery contained within the panel.

The fault you describe is associated with said battery and needs replacing.
