Do you normally disagree with a box of electronics that tells you what is wrong with it?
Then rip it apart not knowing what voltages were/are present?
Nor think to look in the manual or download a user manual?
You of course took pictures of what went where?
And of course you expect a battery that was last changed when exactly to recharge.
Time to call in an alarm engineer, as this is not your forte I think. You have pulled apart one of the more reliable units they made. Just because it told you it needed a new battery.
