Mend 9448 Alarm Battery Control

how can i power down my 9448 alarm?

i need to have the power off my 9448 alarm for a few days,how can i stop the bells ringing?.if i take the battery out of the control unit will this do it?i am worried about the bell outside going off!!

you can turn power off,remove battery leads,and let the bell box die by itself,maby 3 or 4 hours depends,or,call a pro out

thanks for the info .Guess I will leave it alone for now and look for another way.

if you remove all power the bell will go off nothing can stop that unless you get your ladders out and disable too
