how to fix belle mixer?

i have a belle mixer (serial no/633508m16b - model code m16b - model year 2008) and would like to know how to change the power cable on belle mixer. the problem is that the switch keeps going off and we have to keep holding it down to for it to stay on. the motor is running but the drum does not turn. the mounting plastic frame has melted due to overheating. any ideas on how to fix the problem?
