Mend Belle 150 Spins Wrong Drum

Belle 150 mixer spins the wrong way?

Every now and again my mixer turns on in reverse and loosens the drum, I have to turn it off and on again to correct it. Does anybody know what wou d cause this it's a belle 150 240v minimix

Hi Jon,
Motors like the one in your mixer have a Start Capacitor, and if these start to fail can cause the motor to run in reverse.
Try changing this start capacitor, probably a 230v 25uF, easily available online for about £10. Make sure you note the polarity is correct when you change it and the issue should be fixed.
