Mend Belle Mixer Replaced Belt Going

Belle mixer issue?

My belle mixer stops after a few turns replaced capacitor /Dan /belt. Am going to change oil as it was black and like tar
Any other suggestions

Hi no it doesn’t move freely but I cannot recheck until the oil arrives. Does anyone know how much oil it takes

Find out if there's anything making it stiff for starters. Does the motor turn easily by hand? If it's all turning freely, consider that the motor may be knackered.
