Mend Mitsubishi HS-U58 Manually Machine Manual

How do you remove a LOCK function manually on the Mitsubishi VCR HS-U58?

This machine was given to us with no manual or remote control. We were attempting to set up recording times when we inadvertently set the lock on it. Can you advise? Also, how do you set the correct daily time function on it. We couldn't find access to that. This is what originally caused the problem to begin with.

our tv is too old to have a "data" button to hold "on" for ten seconds, but our mitsubishi vcr has a "one key program" button, hold THAT one on for ten seconds and the child lock is released! EUREKA!
