bosch classixx dishwasher SGS43C12GB/15-won't restart after manual drain?

I had to interrupt a cycle to manually drain the dishwasher and shut off the power whilst doing so. Once I had cleared the blockage, I tried to restart it with a new cycle however it won't start. Power is going to the machine, as it is making a noise, but it sounds like its either in the middle of a cycle ( a quiet part) or its stuck and cannot start the cycle as normal. Can you please help?
