Humax PVR9200 - will not change channel to record?
My 2 year old PVR9200T has two faults:
It will not change channels when programmed to record - except between BBC1/2. This means if it is set to BBC1 it will not record any pre-programmed shows on ITV/CEBEBBIES etc.
It will not record using both tuners at the same time.
Occasionally a power off at the mains will enable me to manually record on 2 tuners simultaneously, but this lasts only for a few days. I normally keep the set powered on all the time.
Should I:
Try a manual software upload - the machine thinks it has the latest software version, but most of these problems started since it did an automatic upload about a year ago.
Regularly re-boot the box by turning it on and off.
I have similar problem, freezes on TV or playback.
I have done the reset as suggested and so far it seems to have solved the problem.
I also think that the more stuff you have recorded on disk it seems to cause problems so I also cleared off some programs.

I had similar problem with a new PVR9200T. The machine is very sensitive to power supply.......don't use a multi socket for the PVR, plug directly into the mains (ie, no other devices connected on that socket), this cured my problems with "picture freeze".

My Humax PVR9200t "Picture Freeze" problem was fixed by the following. Might be worth a try?
- Unplug the aerial
- Turn Humax On
- Go to Menu - Installation (0000) - Default Setting (0000)
(Note: This doesn't reset your harddrive, only channels,i.e your recordings will still be fine.
