How to set clock? Mitsubishi Video Recorder HS-531V(NZ)?

When trying to update the clock setting, I can only select a year from 1995 to 2009.
How can I put in 2010 or must recorder be replaced i.e. a 15 year life span?

Go back though the years until you find the one that has the same day for the date of the current year and set the date/clock to that year: IE if today is Wed 14th July 2010, set date to 2004 and the timer works fine
