i run head cleaner and put in new or old vcr tape push play and the tape gets run out and twised in the head what do i do to fix this

One reason and the most common i find for this is the pinch roller for the take-up path is damaged or faulty. The best way to find out is take the top cover off your VCR and when you play a tape check where the tape is not feeding correctly. Most of the time it is just dirt or something blocking the mech from working correctly. If it isnt something you can see easly then it might need the pro touch.
