Mend Pfaff 1167 Sewing Bobbin Turn

The handwheel on my Pfaff 1167 sewing machine has seized...HELP!!?

I can wind the bobbin, but am unable turn the handwheel once the handwheel is engaged. Any help? It has been a few years since this machine was used, but it is nearly new condition.

Hello Debbykay,
The chances are there is a pice of thread stuck in the raceway, take the bobbin and bobbin case out and you will probably see it, if you can turn the machine when the bobbin case is out that is your problem, unlikely anything drastic has happened to the machine.
