how to fix my bernina virtuosa 153 QE?

my sewing machine won't sew both machine and bobbin threaded correctly, turn on the machine use the pedal but the threads won't lock together to sew -
help me please had been sewing fine but with the odd 'catch' noise occasionally, had changed the needle, rethreaded machine several times just in case, no luck
