How can I fit a new door hinge to Hoover Washing Machine AM110?

First, to remove the old one, you simply unscrew it using an alun key from the machine, but it will still be attached to the door.

Next you need to unscrew the four rivets on the inside of the door using an alun key, then use a screwdriver (flathead) to gently lever apart the two parts of the plastic door seal - they are kind of clip lock plastic and once you prise them apart they will pop apart - this allows you access to the bit in the door where the sticky-out bits of the hinge go We were afraid to do this in case we damaged it, but gentle pressure easing them apart was the right thing. Then it is an easy job to slide the ends of the hinge in, then clip the plastic trim back together and redo the alun key screws back in. The remainder of the hinge, now attached to the door can be screwed simply to the machine now using the alun key.
