Mend Hoover HNL 8146 Bought Fill Water

Hoover HNL 8146?

The Hoover HNL 8146 machine I've got is quite old bought back 1998. It now does not fill with water at all, leaks at base and makes a noise when spinning and does not drain away very well leaving washing dirty. Is it worth mending or just buying a new machine?

The machine is 23 years old. Have you checked availability of parts? Parts prices?

Personally I'd be tempted to get a new, decent branded machine - Bosch or something like that. Shop around and you should be able to get one with a decently long warranty in addition, of course, to your legal rights against the retailer
