Mend Hoover 800RLB Washing Machine Repair Broken

Start/Pause Button problem?

The plastic control panel cover has broken off right over the START/PAUSE button from constant use, leaving a hole - on my HOOVER 800RLB top loader.

I have been using a chopstick to push the 'button' in, in order to start the wash cycle, but now I am having problems with this method.

How can I repair this ?
