how to fix hoover washing machine broken door catch?

Hi, just broke into my Hoover wash one machine which had a loose broken handle with a piece of string. No need to blind feel as this is difficult.

Simple get a piece of string wrap it around the door and pull in direction of hinges. Voila. Above video most helpful

turn off at mains then hand down back of front cabinet to door lock from top or bottom and release door blind by feel
