How can I fix my GE 25GT506 TV?

Hi, I have a Hi, I have a GE 25GT506 television. It work great until one night it would not turn off using the power button. To turn the TV off, my husband pulled the power plug from the outlet. The television will not turn back on. Is it a fixable problem for a tv repairman? I was spoiled with this extra television; however, I do not relish the idea of having to buy a new one, if this one can be fixed. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
