how can i fix my television , made by pioneer, 60-64"?

This television is about 7-9 years old but still nice to this day if it worked. One day, I came home and tried to turn my television on. See there is a light indicator for the master power and when the television is on ( red is when the master power is on but the television is off, and green is when both master and the television is on). When I tried to turn my T.V. on, the green like indicator came on, the t.v. clicked on like usual and then it just turns itself back off and the television wont turn back on but the main power will stay on. I have to shut the main power ( by another button on the t.v.) off and on to try to get my television to come on.....it doesnt come on it just keeps repeating this process over and over. Whats the deal? How do I fix that?
