No disc message. Disc is not turning?

My Insignia portable dvd player wont turn the disc and I get a "No Disc" message. everything else works and I have had it less than a year. I have used it 3 or 4 times with no problems, now I get this.

Probably the laser. Suggest you return it to the supplier as it has at least a 1 year guarantee
