what is the problem with may DVD player, stopped working?

My Insignia protable DVD player was working fine. Next day it seemed like it went to sleep. nothing happens, and the disk doesn't spin at all. how can I fix that?

Hi, you have to check the power supply first. Is that ok then check the components inside - capasitors - resistors - ect. fuses - , capasitors do sometimes crack at it's top (leaks) - if so, you must replace the bad components with new. You must have an universal instrument to check the power inside to find out where the power went off.
