Mend Electrolux Power Wont Turn

Electrolux Power Nozzle brush won't turn?

Any ideas as to why the brush on my power nozzle stops turning after only a few minutes of use? The nozzle is less than a year old & seems to work just fine with the exception of the brush problem. I have noticed however, that the reset button is no longer working, could that be causing the brush to malfunction?

Your problem could be one of two things: either the belt has come off, in which case it is an inexpensive fix, or the motor in the power-head unit has gone bad, which could be a $40-$75 repair bill.
