Mend Scunci SS-1000 Problem Hand Stopped

Problem with Scunci SS-1000 hand steamer?

I've got a Scunci SS-1000 hand held steamer. When steam stopped coming out I pulled the unit apart to clean the inner parts that were clogged, this helped and the steam comes out now. However now the steam comes out whether the button is pushed down or not. I've pulled the unit apart 3 times now and everything seems to fit in place when I put it all back together... so i'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this situation. thanks a lot.
