Mend Simpson 706 Start Main Control

my simpson aquarius 706 will not start to wash/agitate?

If the main control switch is sprayed with Innox it will again start to work properly for several wash loads. So it appears that the problem is not in the gear box but in the control mechanisim

So your question is what? You know the fault and you have identified what is causing it i.e. the timer control which you say will work for a short time after spraying it. The next logical step is replace the timer with a new one if they are still available.
