how do you remove the lid of a twyford DUAL flush Lavatory cstern. it doesnt unscew or lift off in any way I can see

if it has 2 push buttons on it then take out the buttons and remove the starhead screw in the middle

Unscrew the chrome ring,. the one around the buttons,.Should only be finger tight.
