Twyfords close coupled toilet with plastic thing leaks between pan & thing?
Put new doughnut on cistern about a year ago that sorted it. But now it drips after flushing from joint between pan and plastic bit there is no seal on there.
your missing the seal then if its not on the plastic accelerator.

There is not a seal between plastic thing and the pan just a flat to flat joint so I have covered this with plumbers paste and put it all back and wait results, also the the pipe thingy had a lot of hard deposit inside so might have been slowing the flow down.

sounds like a twyford with the plastic accelerator kit as its called.
connects the pan to the cistern.
check the black finned rubber seal that links it to the pan.

My toilets not a Twyford but most close couplingtoilets have 2 butterfly nuts that tighten the units together. Have a look underneath the toilet cistern where it joins the toilet itself, on either side ther should be a bolt attached with whats called a butterfly or winged nut, tighten both the wing nuts as much as you can and that should do the trick.
