Mend Securitech 800L Alarm Lights Open

securitech 800L?

My alarm panel still lights up, and makes the correct tone when I put the number in. The alarm will still activate BUT it is when I open the door to the house. It should make a two tone noise, as an alert the door has been opened. This has stopped. No noise at all. Any idea's?

I believe this has been said before, SD you have not got a clue, so kindly stop giving out incorrect advice.

Oh dear, 'I would think' doesn't help.

The door contact has 'stuck' closed therefore it does not operate when the door is opened, nothing to do with a programming change.

Replace it.

As you had a problem, I would think that settings have changed, check your user manual, probably need to be told that the door is an entry way
