A duff battery in the panel can cause this fault,
especially if the panel has lost mains power.

The backup battery runs the system when mains power is lost,

only one problem here though,tampers maybe programmed engineering,

this basically means the highest code (engineering) maybe needed to reset the tampers,

If you have full control of your system and wish to change the battery yourself,then you must remove/isolate the mains power to the panel before you remove the cover for battery access.

Unfortunately if tampers are on engineering and you don't have the access code,then its a job for a pro.
