Mend Bosch Logix Dryer Water Stuck

how to change a switch?

my bosch logix condencer dryer is 8 yrs old and it wont empty the water reservoir as it keeps saying its full but i empty the draw every time. i believe the switch is stuck. i tried to find it but ended up taking the back and sides of and couldnt find it. only a long tube going a long way into the machine. ive tried to take the end of at the top but i cant shift it.
