belt to slack. ?

We have a Bosch classixx 7 have brought a new belt to fit as old one has snapped measured against old belt and is exact same size when we put new belt on far to much slack have we fitted correctly?

Check the writing on the belt. If it is the same as the old belt then it must fit. Goes around the drum, around the motor spindle (pulley) & then usually has a spring loaded tensioner wheel that presses against the belt to keep it tight.

ANSWER IS NO,, you must have feed it the wrong way, or on the wrong wheels, , but it on the drum wheel first, and then to the motor wheel, it should be very tight when trying to fit it, and hard to get on, start again,,
